Dave is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of TLP Management, LP. Since 2004, TLP and its affiliates have invested in a broad range of asset classes in both public and private markets focusing on early stage biotech, venture capital, private equity and real estate. Prior to TLP, Dave joined Citadel Investment Group LLC (Citadel) in 1991 when the firm’s assets under management were less than $20 million. When Dave left Citadel in 2004 as a Principal, Head of Global Credit Trading, and a member of the Management Committee the firm had assets under management in excess of $10 billion. Dave left Citadel to seek a treatment for life threatening food allergies as both his sons were deathly allergic to milk and eggs. This work continues today, but early efforts helped Aimmune Therapeutics develop the first FDA approved therapy for peanut allergy culminating in their being acquired by Nestle in 2020. From 1988 to 1991, Dave was employed by Harris Bank in Chicago. Dave has a B.A. from Harvard College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is currently the Chairman of the board of directors for FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) and has been an active member of the board of directors of Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
Gregg D. Handrich

Gregg is a seasoned real estate investor and developer with an extensive 35-year background in underwriting, acquisitions, development, asset management, capital markets and dispositions with over $3.0 billion of transactional experience. As principal with FIDES, Gregg founded the multifamily investment platform and over the last 10 years was directly responsible for over $250 million of apartment investments noted in the track record summary.
Prior to TLP-FIDES, Gregg was a founding officer of Pritzker Residential Equities (“Centergate”) which invested on behalf of the Pritzker family. Centergate acquired and developed a 14,000-unit apartment portfolio with a market value exceeding $1.8 billion. Gregg was directly responsible for value-added asset management initiatives, oversight of property management, financing and the assisting in the disposition of the portfolio. During 2004-2007, the portfolio was sold at a substantial profit. Prior to Pritzker, Gregg worked for the Balcor Company, where he held numerous roles including asset management of a large apartment portfolio and winding down the company’s real estate portfolio. Gregg started his career with the First Boston Corporation on Wall Street where he worked within the real estate securitization group. Gregg has a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and an MS in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Steven S. Bunning

Steve has been Vice President for real estate investments at TLP since 2009. In that role, Steve has led TLP’s investments in agricultural farmland, multi-family housing and other real estate. Previously, he served in various sales and sales management capacities at R.R. Donnelley from 1986 to 2009. Steve received a BS degree from the University of Illinois.

Gregory is an experienced real estate finance and investment professional with over 20 years spent capitalizing real estate assets and businesses. Greg’s experience spans multiple asset classes including land, SFH, apartments, parking garages, office buildings, hotels and condominiums, and he has invested capital across the capital structure. In his most recent role with Strategic Property Partners, Gregory was a member of the company’s executive leadership team and investment committee executing over $2 billion of development and investment activity. Gregory is based in Tampa and focuses on identifying compelling investment opportunities in Florida’s housing sector and beyond for TLP-FIDES.

Mike has been the Executive Vice President for public market investments and private company investments at TLP since its inception in 2004. In that role, Mike principally oversees public market bond, stock and derivative investments and is a senior member of the Investment Committee that led TLP’s investment into 45 plus private portfolio companies. Previously, he was a Manager at Procter & Gamble from 1992 to 2004. Mike received a BS degree from Cornell University and an MBA from the New York University.

Dave joined TLP as Chief Financial Officer in January 2009. Previously, Dave was a Principal and Chief Financial Officer for two prominent hedge fund management firms from November 1997 through December 2008. From 1991 through 1997, Dave was the Chief Financial Officer for the (Joseph) Ritchie Family Office where he also served in management and advisory positions for several portfolio companies owned or controlled by the Ritchie Family Office. Prior to 1991, Dave was a Senior Manager in the Commodities and Securities Practice Group of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Dave received a BA in accounting from Illinois State University.

Jane joined TLP as Controller in April 2010, managing financial and tax reporting, controls, budgeting, operations, and cash flow management. Her responsibilities include the affiliated companies’ real estate, venture capital, private equity, and public market investments. From June 2005 to March 2010, Jane was the Assistant Controller at Gracie Capital LLC, a multi-strategy hedge fund manager in New York City. Prior to 2005, Jane was an Audit Associate at Deloitte in Saint Louis. Jane received a BS in Business Administration, Finance & Accounting, from the University of Dayton and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Jane is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the State of New York.
Gregory G. Longoria

Greg is 30+ year real estate executive with an extensive background in commercial real estate investment and capital markets. Since 2009 he has completed $2.0 billion of transactions involving complicated entity level investments, equity, mezzanine, construction, bridge and permanent financing structures. Greg’s experience cuts across all asset classes, with a heavy emphasis on multifamily related transactions. As a Principal with TLP/FIDES, Greg was involved with forming the platform and has provided a capital markets perspective related to the investment strategy.
Among his experiences, Greg was the Chief Capital Officer of MuniMae, an NYSE listed specialty finance company, where he planned and executed capital and financing strategies for the company’s $1 billion balance sheet and $2 billion investment management business. Greg was also Managing Director at Gulf Atlantic Capital Corporation, where he developed and executed on collateral recoveries, restructuring options and recapitalization strategies for distressed real estate companies. Additionally, Greg was a Managing Director at the boutique firm of FPL Associates where he led the firm’s merger & acquisition and capital raising practice. Greg received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Management Degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
